JOHNNY Abarrientos scored 25 points and dished out 16 assists as Alaska beat Purefoods, 92-70, on Sunday in the UNTV Cup PBA Legends Faceoff at the Pasig Sports Center.
The Milkmen finished the elimination round with a 2-1 record.
The former PBA MVP went 11 for 17 from the field, including 3 of 7 from threes in another impressive performance for the assistant coach of the Magnolia Hotshots.
Bong Hawkins had 15 points and seven rebounds, Willie Miller added 14 and Jeffrey Cariaso scored 13 each for the Milkmen, who bounced back from a loss to San Miguel.
Glenn Capacio had 15 points and Alvin Patrimonio had 12 points and eight rebounds for Purefoods, which went winless in the elimination round.
