48th WNCAA season features new member school and cheeerdance event for kids

WNCAA opens its 48th Season with a new member school and an event for younger students on Saturday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

University of Makati tries to make a good impression in its first game in the women’s league as it faces six-time defending champion Centro Escolar University in the seniors basketball at 3 p.m.

De La Salle Zobel will face St. Paul College Pasig at 1 p.m.

WNCAA has added to the program a mini cheerdance competition for preparatory to grade three pupils.

Poveda College is gunning for its fifth championship in the midgets cheerdance competition.

UMAK will join mainstays Angelicum College, Assumption College San Lorenzo, CEU, Chiang Kai Shek, DLSZ, La Salle College Antipolo, Miriam College, Philippine Women’s University, Saint Jude Catholic School, San Beda College Alabang, SPCP, St. Scholastica’s College, St. Stephen’s High School, University of Asia & the Pacific and host school SPPC.
