SENIORS basketball players including the senators, justices and generals take centercourt as the UNTV Cup Executive Face-Off unwraps on Sunday at the Pasig City Sports Center.

Other participating teams are Department of Justice, GSIS, Judiciary, Malacañang-Philippine Sports Commission and the Senate Sentinels.
Presidential Special Assistant Bong Go is expected to lead the Malacañang Kamao after settling for a runner-up finish in the regular tournament won by the Senate Defenders.
A simple opening ceremony at 3 p.m. ushers in the second edition of the event with Wishcovery grand champion Princess Sevillena providing the entertainment before the drawing of lots for the day’s two matches.
After playing key roles in the UNTV Cup triumph, Senators Joel Villanueva and Sonny Angara return as Senate goes for a double.
Also tipped to figure prominently in the event is Judiciary which will be led by Court Administrator Jose Midas Marquez and associate justices Normandie Pizarro, Ronaldo Martin, Oscar Herrera and Edwin Sorongon.
The P1 million top prize will go to the charity of the champion team. The charity of the runner-up gets P500,000, third P250,000 and P200,000 to the fourth placers.
The Executive Face-Off, according to UNTV CEO and chairman Daniel Razon, was created to give the top executives of the government’s various branches the time to relax, renew acquaintances and show the other side of their talents.
