FOURTEEN teams will take part in the 9th Fr. Martin Cup Open basketball tournament, which gets under way this Sunday at the Trinity University of Asia gym in Quezon City.
The San Beda Red Lions are looking to claim a fourth straight title and begin their campaign against the Arellano University-B team at 12:30 p.m.
Arellano University-A, who fought the Red Lions for the 8th season championship, take on the Emilio Aguinaldo College Generals at 10:30 a.m.
Far Eastern University clashes with Centro Escolar University in the opener at 9 a.m.
Also vying are Ateneo, University of the Philippines, Letran, Informatics, College of St. Benilde, Adamson University and two teams University of Perpetual Help.
