POWERHOUSE Tanauan blanked Sta. Cruz, 38-0, on Tuesday for their second win in as many games in the baseball competition of the Southern Luzon regionals of the Little League Philippine Series in Tanauan City.
The Tanauan little leaguers aged 11 to 12 years old downed Canlubang, 16-0, on Monday.
Their big league counterparts (16-18), meanwhile, defeated International Little League Association of Manila (Illam), 10-6, to also capture their second win after trouncing Bulacan, 19-3.
Calamba, meanwhile, nipped Canlubang, 17-16, in the other morning match in the Southern Luzon Regionals in the little league baseball division.
Also in little league baseball action, Muntinlupa trounced Makati, 16-1, while Marikina blanked Smokey Mountain, 3-0, in the National Capital Region group.
In the Bicol-Visayas-Mindanao Region, Zamboanga and Naga blanked Baao and Ragay respectively via the same 6-0 scoreline.
Zamboanga also outclassed Pamplona, 21-0, in Group A of junior league baseball as Lipa beat Quezon City, 7-6, in Group B.
