ADAMSON University goes for the clincher while La Salle looks to force a decider on Friday in Game Two of the UAAP baseball tournament at the Rizal Memorial Stadium.

Game time is at 12 p.m., with the Falcons, 14-4 winner in the series opener, looking to complete a sweep and claim their first title since winning eight seasons ago.

The Falcons are eyeing their 12th title since claiming their first 20 years ago.

The Green Batters, the top team after the elimination round, look to extend the series as they seek their fifth crown in the UAAP.

“Binigyan na kami ng pagkakataong manalong muli ng kampeonato. We intend to make the most out of this chance,” Falcons coach Orlando Binarao.

Meanwhile, University of Sto. Tomas looks to finish off Adamson in the softball finals.

Game Two of the best-of-three series is set at 9 a.m.

Adamson claimed a baseball-softball double in 1998, and now look to match the feat.

The Lady Falcons look to bounce back after losing Game One, 3-4.

“We need to win otherwise, sayang ang lahat paghihirap ng mga bata sa preparasyon,” Lady Falcons’ coach Ana Santiago.

The Lady Falcons are eyeing an eighth straight title to surpass the record seven set by the now-defunct Manila Central University, UAAP women’s softball champion from 1956 to 1962.

UST coach Sandy Barredo is confident the Tigresses can end their run of futility and stop the Lady Falcons’ run.

“Napakatagal na naming hindi nag-cha-champion. Dapat naman matapos na ang aming paghinintay,” said Barredo.
