In other matches, defending champion National University beat La Salle, 9-4, while University of the Philippines stunned University of Santo Tomas, 11-6.
The Bulldogs, who lost to the Blue Eagles at the end of the first round last Sunday, tied the Growling Tigers in second place at 4-2, while the Fighting Maroons tied the Green Archers at 2-4.
The Falcons remain the tournament’s lone winless team at 0-6.
