Christine Majadillas, managing director of One of a Kind Marketing, Under Armour Southeast Asia’s lead marketing arm for the Philippines, says their stocks of merchandise are always sold out as the popularity of top endorser Stephen Curry hits the roof. AP

UNDER Armour Philippines is experiencing robust sales as the product continues to ride the popularity of premier endorser Steph Curry.

Christine Majadillas, managing director of One of a Kind Marketing, Under Armour Southeast Asia’s lead marketing arm for the Philippines, said demand for the brand’s products has been on the rise parallel to that of the popularity of the two-time MVP from the Golden State Warriors.

Majadillas said Under Armour Philippines is hardpressed keeping up with the demand especially Curry’s shoes.

“The problem we have is stocks. It’s sold out. I think we are coping up to that demand,” said Majadillas.

Majadillas bared Under Armour Southeast Asia has been impressed with the performance of the Philippine market, a big reason why the country was part of Curry’s tour last year.

“We have this kind of wave right now. I think we are the number one in the US right now. Under Armour Philippines and Under Armour Southeast Asia, being the principal regional office, are really surprised with how the Philippines is performing,” said Majadillas.

Majadillas said there are now three Under Armour branches in the country with a fourth one set to open in Cebu this month.

“All I can say is that we are so blessed,” said Majadillas.
