JANRY Ubas bagged another gold in Europe as he ruled the Triveneto Meeting Internazionale in Trieste, Italy.
The Filipino long jumper registered 7.72 meters to grab the title and gain points in the World Athletics rankings in his bid to qualify for the world championships.

The top 36 in the standings will earn slots to the World Athletics Championships next month in Budapest, Hungary.
Ubas is at No. 53 in the world. The new points earned from the Italy meet will only reflect when the World Athletics releases its new rankings on Tuesday.
Also not yet recorded are Ubas' points earned from the recent win in Finland where he jumped 7.86 meters.
Ubas won the gold in the Southeast Asian Games in Cambodia and placed seventh in the Asian Athletics Championships in Bangkok.
