Pound for Pound Fitness plans to expand 85 branches nationwide through franchising
Pound for Pound Fitness has PBA cagers for franchise holders like June Mar Fajardo.

POUND for Pound Fitness is looking to expand its reach in getting more Filipinos to get fitter by putting up more gyms nationwide through franchising.

Owners Keith and Marichris Picazo shared that Pound for Pound Fitness hopes to continue its impressive growth this year after starting with a single gym in June 2014. The goal is to have 85 branches nationwide.

“You know you’ve done a great thing when you have a business that can change lives for the better. It’s a win-win situation for me,” said Keith Picazo.

Picazo said Pound for Pound Fitness offers programs in strength and conditioning, athletic training, circuit training, weight loss, boxing, and Muay Thai for 2018 in their branches.

Among their franchise holders are PBA players June Mar Fajardo, Scottie Thompson, and Kevin Ferrer.

“This is where I condition myself to give my best in every game and, at the same time, I also get to help others with their fitness goals. This is one of the best business and fitness decisions I’ve made,” said Ginebra do-it-all guard Thompson.

Picazo said its branches are also open for new members through the following rates: P500 for a membership fee, and payment of P1,000 for one month, P2,500 for three months, P4,500 for six months, and P8,500 for one year.

The fee includes unlimited use of trainers.

The gyms are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Mondays to Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every Sunday. Aside from the main Las Pinas branch, Pound for Pound Fitness also has branches in Paranaque, Muntinlupa, Cavite, Makati, Pasig, Shaw, and Greenhills.
