Cycling buffs face test of endurance in two-day AboitizPower Tour of Clark
Organized by Bike King (headed by Raul Cuevas) and presented byAboitizPower, the Tour of Clark will have three stages spread over two days.

AMATEUR racers face a full weekend of long-distance cycling at Clark, Pampanga on August 16 and 17 with the launch of the AboitizPower Tour of Clark.

Organized by Bike King and presented by AboitizPower, the event will have three stages spread over two days: Stage 1 is a 20-kilometer team time trial, Stage 2 is a 40K criterium in three waves while an 80K road race will take place on Sunday morning.

The starting line will be set along J.P. Rizal Avenue while the race will end along J. Abad Santos Avenue for Stages 1 and 3. The Stage 2 finish line will be at J.P. Rizal Avenue.

Registration is ongoing with entry fee at P2,000 per stage until registration concludes on August 10 or until all slots have been filled. All participants who managed to
registered by July 31 are be entitled to an event shirt.

The event is open to all individual riders and cycling clubs. Cyclists who held a professional license (UCI) below 50-years-old will not be allowed to compete. Participants’ categories include the Female Open, Novice, Intermediate and Advanced.

The event is supported by Aboitiz, Clark Freeport Philippines, AboitizPower, Unilab Active Health, Bikers’ Café, Fontana Leisure Park, OtterBox, Shimano, Orbea, Maxxis, Crystal Clear, Men’s Health and Women’s Health magazines.

A team manager’s meeting was held at Biker’s Café at SM Mall of Asia by the Bay where the different courses, rules and regulations were discussed.
