IAN Genada collects autographs of NBA players and added Damian Lillard to his collection that already includes Laker legend Kobe Bryant and 2016 Hall of Fame inductee Allen Iverson.

But getting the Portland star's signature was challenging, to say the least.

The 20-year old Information Systems student from the College of St. Benilde won a chance to meet Lillard during a media event at the Kerry Gym at the Shangri La The Fort on Tuesday afternoon. Through an online contest, the self-confessed Los Angeles Lakers and Lillard fan also won a pair of Lillard's latest adidas signature shoes.

Genada waited for almost four hours with his friends before he met Lillard, who is in the Philippines as part of his #Dametime Asian Tour. Using gold marker pens, the two-time NBA All Star signed two high-resolution photos of himself – one while taking a game-winning jumper against the Houston Rockets to win a playoff series, and the other was an interesting choice featuring his match-up against NBA MVP Steph Curry.

“Tiningnan nya yung photo nila ni Curry ng matagal bago siya nag-sign,” said Genada, who also tried to have Lillard sign the pair of shoes he won as a prize but the high-scoring guard said that “two’s enough.”

Genada said he got Bryant’s autograph on his LA Lakers “Home” jersey that he obtained in Singapore. He also has an autographed hotel stationery by Iverson through his mother, who worked on the same establishment where the Sixers great stayed during his Manila visit.
