Did Russell Westbrook just take a jab at Kevin Durant in new Jordan commercial?
Russell Westbrook will be wearing the Jordan XXXI, the latest model in the signature series of NBA legend Michael Jordan, for the coming NBA season.

“SOME run, some make runways.”

In a latest commercial for a new Jordan shoe, Russell Westbrook followed a flight path that, some feel, was a jab at former teammate Kevin Durant.

The new 30-second video shows the Jordan Brand endorser running the length of a basketball court that suddenly transforms into a runway.

Westbrook assumes the iconic Jumpman pose before taking off to the sound of a jet engine followed by the loaded statement, a nod to Westbrook’s new role as the franchise player of the Oklahoma City Thunder and viewed as a slight to Durant’s free agent signing with OKC’s Western Conference rivals, the Golden State Warriors.

For the 2016-17 NBA season, Westbrook will be wearing the Jordan XXXI, the latest model in the signature series of NBA legend Michael Jordan.
