PART of its retro releases for the 2016 Rio Olympics, Nike is set to bring back a memorable sneaker, one that fans to the 2008 USA basketball's 'Redeem Team' will never forget.

The Nike Hyperdunk 'United We Stand' colorway will soon be available. Basketball enthusiasts and sneakerheads alike will remember this iconic shoe as the one made famous by Kobe Bryant, who played a prominent part in the USA Basketball men’s team that won a gold medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, their first gold in a major international competition after eight years.

The Nike 'United We Rise' Hyperdunk is so named since the motto is printed on the shoe’s tongue. It also features gold-flecked laces, and the original reflective detailing.

The retro will be available from selected Nike retailers on July 23 (July 24, Manila time).
