THE NFL has fined Houston Texans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins for wearing the new addas Yeezy 350 cleats in a game, violating the league's strict uniform policy.

Hopkins said on Thursday (Friday, Manila time) that he was fined approximately $6,000 for wearing the Kanye West-designed Yeezy 350 cleats from adidas in their game against the Chicago Bears last Sunday.

Apparently, the 'Turtledove' colorway does not fit with the NFL's uniform policy, which calls for cleats to have a solid base color unless pre-approved by league officials.

Hopkins, who signed with adidas during the offseason, told reporters that he will not wear Yeezy cleats in a game again unless West or the brand will pay the fine.

The cleats went on sale to the general public and sold out almost immediately.
