MERRELL launched the Nature's Gym campaign on Saturday at the Capitol Commons Park to encourage people to work out outdoors.

The brand began the first of three workout schedules in the posh Pasig park with an outdoor training with Merrell ambassador Coby Sarreal and lifestyle and fitness coach Jose Villablanca where guests underwent exercises in burpees, jump overs, among others.

Sarreal, a renowned hiker, said working out should not be constrained to the four corners of a gym, as he encouraged people to explore the outdoors.

"I'm a big fan of nature and the outdoors. I've been hiking since I was eight years old. So the initiative of Merrell to bring out this new brand, introduce it to more people, encourage them to be fit, to walk, and be active is a big plus."

"Let's go out, let's be healthy, and feel nature. From there, if ever they become physically healthy, mas maganda 'yung puwedeng mangyari," said Sarreal.

The second workout schedule will be held on October 14 with a self-defense session from KravMaga Global, while the final session will be a holistic wellness talk with Villablanca.

The latest product line of Merrell will also be featured during the sessions including the Bare Access Flex, Trail Glove 4, and the Agility collections.
