MATTHEW Dellavedova is getting his own signature shoe. This isn’t a typo.

Chinese footwear brand PEAK announced on its website on Friday that the Cleveland Cavaliers fan favorite from Down Under has signed a three-year deal to be a PEAK athlete.

As part of the deal, the scrappy Australian guard, who was previously under Nike, will be fielding the Delly 1, a low-cut basketball sneaker that would see initial release in Australia in the latter part of this year. Aside from the shoe, PEAK added it has plans to produce apparel, as well as running and casual shoes.

"PEAK Australia approached me nearly two years ago with the idea of introducing a basketball shoe into the Australian market" Dellavedova said. "From there, talks became more serious in the past year and PEAK worked hard on developing a shoe that offers the type of reliability and performance that drives me every day. It's pretty special. I can't wait to unveil them for the first time later this year."
