COMING off a third place finish, Creamline tapped former Ateneo setter Jia Morado to beef up its squad for the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference set to start on July 1.

The Cool Smashers had a promising lineup with volleyball star Alyssa Valdez leading the way along with Thai import Kuttuka Kaewpin and American reinforcement Laura Schaudt.

However, Creamline only finished third in the recently concluded Reinforced Conference.

Two weeks before the All-Filipino Conference, Creamline management made a wise move in getting the services of the the 22-year old playmaker.

Morado knows Creamline star Valdez well as the two played together in Ateneo for three years and gave the Katipunan-based university back-to-back titles in the UAAP Seasons 76 and 77.
