Cha Cruz glad to repay team's trust in title decider after quiet performance for F2 in PSL title series opener

CHA Cruz was pleased to be able to deliver in the title decider after struggling at the start of the Super Liga Grand Prix title series.

Along with import MJ Perez, Cruz came up with 16 big points as the F2 Logistics won in four sets over Petron to complete a comeback from a match down in the best-of-three finals.

Cruz did well towards the end of the second match and is glad to contnue the fine play in the finale and repay the trust of her coaches and teammates.

"I'm still happy and nakaka-proud. I believe in God's perfect timing kasi ngayon nakalaro ako and I was able to contribute para makuha namin 'yung goal namin," she said. 

"I'm just very happy na all my coaches and my teammates really trust me."

Cruz deflected credit to her teammates.

"Mindset namin was kailangan lahat kami gagana, lahat kami magbibigay ng best. I was really happy na lahat talaga kami showed our best," she said after the match at the Mall of Asia Arena. 

"Noong tinitignan ko yung mga teammates ko sa mata, there was fire na we really want this game. When you see that, you just wanna give best your best, too."
