Cesca Racraquin stars as San Beda gets back on track with four-set win over St. Benilde
Cesca Racraquin and the Lady Red Spikers make it two wins in three outings.

SAN Beda College got back on the winning track in the Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference with a 25-21, 25-20, 17-25, 25-22 win over College of St. Benilde on Wednesday at The Arena in San Juan.

Cesca Racraquin scored 15 points and Nieza Viray added 12 as San Beda bounced back from a loss to Arellano University. The Lady Red Spikers improved to 2-1 to tie Lady Chiefs in Group B.

The Lady Red Spikers struggled to close out the match and trailed by as many as seven points in the third set, before regaining composure in the fourth.

It was a close contest in attacks with SBC having a slim advantage, 41-38, while the Lady Blazers had 15 blocks against just four by the Lady Red Spikers.

San Beda also had 10 service aces while St. Benilde had four.

Ranya Musa scored 21 for CSB, winless in two outings.

Marites Pablo, younger sister of Pocari Sweat star Myla, added 12 markers for the Lady Blazers.
