CLARICE and Christine Patrimonio led National University to a 3-0 win over University of Santo Tomas and a third straight UAAP women’s tennis crown on Saturday at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center.

With their father and PBA legend Alvin Patrimonio watching from the stands, Clarice beat Precian Rivera, 6-1, 6-2, before Christine overcame Macy Gonzalez, 6-2, 6-3, to give NU a 2-0 lead in the tie.

Goldie Nagret and Zaza Paulino completed the victory when they beat Lenelyn Milo and Shymae Gitalan, 6-2, 6-2, in the doubles match.

The Lady Bulldogs won all their nine ties this season, including eight in the eliminations to gain a twice-to-beat advantage in the finals against the Tigresses.
