Miguel Tabuena fired a four-under 68 and grabbed a share of the lead with Jay Bayron after the second round of the Eastridge Classic Thursday at the Eastridge Golf Club in Bingangonan, Rizal.

The 17-year-old Asian Tour campaigner, winner of the Spledido leg in March, looks to seal his second Philippine Golf Tour in the final round of the 54-hole tournament on Friday.

Tabuena hit three birdies in the first four holes on the back nine and had a bogey-birdie finish for a two-day total of 138.

Overnight leader Bayron held on with a second-straight 69 and is hoping to continue the fine play and avoid another final-round foul-up. In the Eagle Ridge Invitational two weeks ago, Bayron squandered a five-stroke lead with a 77 in the final round.

First day co-leader Mars Pucay fell behind after a 73 for 142, a total matched by Tony Lascuna after a second straight 71, and Angelo Que who shot 72.
