BIG things await the UAAP as National University hosts the 75th season of the league.

League president Nilo Ocampo made the vow on Monday during the official launch of the UAAP’s diamond year in a press conference at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

“With National University as host, we are expecting big things that would further enhance sportsmanship and foster camaraderie and friendship. Big things that will rouse athletics in the Philippines, and big things that will get the fans cheering,” said Ocampo.

The new season is set to unfurl this Saturday.

Among the biggest developments in the league this season is the holding of majority of the basketball games at the newly-built MOA Arena, which Ocampo said will enhance the viewing pleasure of the public.

“We are celebrating the rise of the MOA Arena, an edifice that we believe will take the UAAP viewing experience a notch higher. It is a world-class facility that will make UAAP fans, students, and alumni have an enjoyable experience that only the NBA has undergone,” Ocampo said.
