ABS-CBN Sports announced on Monday it will air Games Three and Four of the 2013 NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs live after coming under fire from fans for the delayed telecast on free television of Game Two on Monday morning.

The giant network’s sports division made the announcement on its social media accounts, saying the next two games of the best-of-seven championship series will be aired on free TV via Channel 2 beginning at 9 a.m.

“PROGRAMMING ADVISORY: NBA Finals Games 3 and 4 will air live at 9 a.m. on June 12 and 14, respectively on ABS-CBN,” said ABS-CBN Sports on its Facebook and Twitter accounts.

ABS-CBN had aired the series opener live but came under heavy criticism on social networking sites after the start of the telecast of Game Two was delayed by an hour to 9 a.m.

KrisTV, a daily program hosted by Kris Aquino, owns the 8 a.m. timeslot in the giant network.

By the time the Heat wrapped up a 103-84 victory over the Spurs, the Channel 2 broadcast of the game was still right around the early stages of the third period.

It is unclear, however, whether Game Five, which like Game Two falls on a Monday, June 17 Manila time, will be also be aired live since the 8 a.m. start time also clashes with Aquino's program.

The NBA Finals are shown live on Basketball TV (BTV), a cable channel.
