DON'T be surprised if you see brothers Jeron and Jeric Teng getting physical against each other when De La Salle and University of Santo Tomas begin their UAAP men's basketball title series on Wednesday at the Big Dome.
That's the warning fired by their mom Susan, who bared that the two have gotten on each other's nerves not a few times while playing one-on-one in their makeshift court inside the family home in Cubao, Quezon City.
Normal na sa kanila yun,” she added, recalling an incident during a DLSU-UST match in the eliminations when Jeron gave older brother Jeric a cheap shot while attacking the lane.
Here's a video of the two playing in their makeshift court and take a peek at the Teng's home:
Susan also bared how she would just let her two sons go at it, as they are not the violent kind.
“Hanggang ganun lang naman yung mga 'yun. Maya-maya, bati na rin,” she said. Ganun sila ka-intense maglaro.”
Dad Alvin, meanwhile, revealed how he would sometimes gets irritated at his kids when they quarrel on the court.
Kaya siguro ganun din ang nangyari - magkaibang school sila ng linaruan,” said the former PBA player.
And who has the most number of wins in the two's one-on-one showdown, Susan was asked.
Shooter kasi 'yun eh.
The court at the family home's parking lot (pictured) has been rarely used since the two took their acts to a bigger stage, Mrs. Teng said.
