Fr. Martin Cup: Overtime work pays off for Falcons

Far Eastern University booked a quarterfinal slot while Adamson needed two extra periods to secure a win in 18th Fr. Martin Summer Cup action last Monday at the San Beda Gym.

Russel Escoto had 10 points while Arvie Bringas added eight in a balanced scoring effort as the Tamaraws disposed off Ateneo-B Blue Eagles, 61-45.

Meanwhile, the Falcons turn back University of the Philippines, 82-76, in double overtime to move one win away from sweeping Group A.
