BOBBY Ray Parks had a double-double effort as National University defeated University of the East, 73-63, on Thursday in the Philippine Collegiate Champions League qualifiers at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
Parks came up with 18 points, 15 rebounds, and eight assists for the Bulldogs, who will play Far Eastern University in the next phase of the Luzon-Metro Manila stepladder playoff.
Joshua Alolino added 15 points while Tristan Perez had 12 markers as the Bulldogs ended the Red Warriors’ bid for an upset.
Roi Sumang tallied 20 points, while Charles Mammie added 13 points and 20 rebounds for the Red Warriors.
