Taking the backseat to blue chip recruits Kiefer Ravena and Greg Slaughter for most of the campaign, the unassuming, 6-foot-4 forward took center stage in the finals against Far Eastern University, highlighting a remarkable Game One performance with a perfect 8-for-8 shooting from the field and 8-for-8 clip from the foul line for a team-high 24 points. No wonder, he was adjudged as the Finals MVP. An encore is most definitely welcome in his final year with the team.
