JASON Agravante and Jho An Banayag ruled the fifth leg of the 36th National Milo Marathon eliminations at the Mall of Asia grounds on Sunday.
Agravante dominated the 42k men's race with a time of two hours, 37 minutes and 57 seconds, breaking loose at the 15k mark and never looking back.
"Proud syempre," said the 23-year old runner from Silay City, Negros Occidental. "First 15 (kilometers) kumawala na ako."
Meanwhile, four-time first placer Jho An Banayag of the Philippine Army dominated the 42k female division with a time of 3:02:20.

"Maganda di mainit, pabor yung ulan sa akin nakatulong para ma-refresh ako," she said.
Rafael Poliquit Jr. of Far Eastern University finished in 1:14:35 to lead the 21k male category while former University of Santo Tomas varsity star Nhea Ann Barcena ruled the women's divisionin 1:33:38.
"After sa CCP dun na ako nagbreakaway tapos after 'nun nagdire-diretso na ako," said the former Philippine team member.
