Rains no dampener in Milo Marathon eliminations
Confetti marks the Milo marathon elims' early start, and it's a long race for some -- 42.195 kilometers on foot.
Sun starts to rise as the runners in the shorter distances are fired off.
Motorized vehicles were diverted, and counterflow was allowed for runners.
Kid gets a free ride to the finish line.
The asphalt has dried but the shoes are still soaked, and the run becomes a walk in the park.
