Nicole Marie Tagle qualifies for Youth Olympic Games through world archery championships in Argentina

NICOLE Marie Tagle qualified for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games through the World Archery Youth Championship in Rosario, Argentina.

Tagle finished in joint ninth place in the main tournament, the primary qualification for the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, after reaching the fourth round of the knockout stage.

Her standing was enough for a place in the secondary qualification.

Tagle, silver medalist in the Kuala Lumpur Southeast Asian Games, Tagle made it to the knockout round of the main tournament after finishing 11th in the qualifiers with a 653, 33 behind top-seed San An of Korea.

The 15-year-old Tagle topped the secondary qualification, beating Uehara Ruka of Japan, 7-3, in the final after defeating Sogand Rahmani of Iran, 7-3.
