TOP Rank big boss Bob Arum still believes Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather will clash in a superfight, and it could happen as early as the first half of next year.
Arum said in an interview with Spin.ph that negotiations with Mayweather’s camp has been ongoing.
“I am optimistic that it can happen as early as the first six months of next year,” Arum said.
“Yeah, we have started, but I can’t talk about it,” he added.
In the Spin.ph interview, the 83-year-old Arum also expressed elation at Pacquiao’s new found dedication in training.
