MACAU – So who says only Freddie Roach has the right to call the outcome of the Manny Pacquiao-Chris Algieri title match?

Tim Lane, the equally outspoken trainer of the 30-year-old challenger from New York, has joined the fray on Wednesday.

As confident as Algieri, the former world kickboxing champion turned boxing coach sees Pacquiao being stopped in the 10th round of the scheduled 12-round bout at the Cotai Arena here.

“It’s Chris Algieri stopping the fight in the 10th round,” said Lane just before Algieri (20-0 8 KOs) did his early morning workout.

“My prediction is Chris Algieri winning (the fight) by knockout.”

Lane’s remark came exactly a week after Roach himself spoke about him wanting to see the Filipino champion from General Santos City knocking out Algieri in just a single round.

But Lane, who did some kickboxing routine with Algieri in complete muay thai outfit, doesn’t see the wish of Roach happening as he considers his prized-boxer a 'super hero.’
