Kib Montalbo CT scan reveals no injury after getting hit in Davao basket-brawl

DE La Salle guard Kib Montalbo incurred no injury after being on the receiving end of a punch by Far Eastern University's Ron Dennison during a brawl in a pocket tournament in Davao.

Kib's father Roger Montalbo said a CT scan to check on his head showed no injuries.

Montalbo dropped to the floor when he was punched by FEU's Ron Dennison during the Kadayawan Festival basketball tournament on Friday in at the Almendras gym.

Dennison had already been ejected from the game when brawl went full-scale and he decked Montalbo.

Dennison said he was only trying to defend his teammates.

The Montalbo family declined further comment on the incident, saying the important thing is that the players didn't sustain any major injuries
