UNIVERSITY of the Philippines is 2-0 for the first time in a decade and has surpassed its win total from last season.

But make no mistake about it, the Maroons’ thirst for wins is insatiable, says Jett Manuel.

The Fighting Maroons came away with a huge victory on Thursday, upsetting La Salle, 71-66, at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum in a win of utmost importance to a school which has seldom tasted success in the UAAP.

“It feels really good to win more than one game. We are looking for more wins,” said Manuel.

“High pa kami,” said Manuel. “It was a total team effort. Maganda ang contribution ng buong team.”
