ADAMSON completed a sweep of the first round of the UAAP Season 79 juniors basketball, routing University of the East, 130-47, on Saturday at the Filoil Flying V Centre.
Encho Serrano had 22 points and 15 rebounds, while Gerry Austin Abadiano contributed 20 points for the Baby Falcons, who outscored the Junior Warriors, 38-12, in the first quarter.
Adamson, which also got 18 points from Jason Celis, was already ahead, 71-18, at halftime and the Goldwin Monteverde-coached Baby Falcons cruised to their seventh win in as many games.
No one from UE scored in double figures.
National University trounced University of the Philippines Integrated School, 95-61, to stay in second place with a 6-1 win-loss record.
Rhayyan Amsali had 16 points, while Karl Penano added 14 markers for the Bullpups.
