TYPHOON Ruby has grounded even the legendary Manny Pacquiao.

The 35-year-old boxing great failed to call the shots for Kia Motors in the team’s final game in the PBA Philippine Cup against NLEX after flights from General Santos City and neighboring provinces were cancelled following the destruction brought about by the super typhoon down South.

Pacquiao planned to play against the Road Warriors in the team’s final game for the season-opening conference in the hope of ending their campaign on a high note.

But typhoon Ruby just won’t let the Pacman do his thing as the eight-time world division champion ended the all-Filipino Cup having played for just two games.

In the two matches against Blackwater and Meralco, Pacquiao registered an even 1-1 record as the Sorento eked out a come-from-behind win over the Elite on opening day, 80-66, while losing to the Bolts, 99-93, but not after fighting back from a huge 22-point deficit.
