MOALA Tautuaa and Troy Rosario will be leaving with the Gilas Pilipinas team on Friday with their future well secured.

The top two picks in the recent PBA Rookie Draft were signed to a maximum three year deal each by Talk ‘N Text a day before they join the national team bound for the annual Jones Cup basketball tournament in Chinese Taipei.

Both rookies stand to receive a total package of P8.5 million, according to incoming Tropang Texters team manager Virgil Villavicencio.

Under the terms, Tautuaa and Rosario are set to earn P1.5 million in the first year, P2.25 million in the second, and P3.375 million in the final season of the contract.

Tautuaa was made the No. 1 overall pick by the Tropang Texters in last week's draft, and then added Rosario - the second overall pick of Mahindra - to the mix when the franchise acquired him in a trade with the Enforcer.
