JUNE Mar Fajardo hardly had any rest as he suited up for the San Miguel Beermen in in a 114-108 win over NLEX in the PBA, just a day after helping Gilas Pilipinas rule the 2017 Seaba Championship.

But Fajardo didn't mind.

"Di naman kami masyadong pagod sa Seaba. Light lang practice kasi everyday yung game," said Fajardo, who averaged 14.3 minutes over six games in the biennial meet at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The reigning three-time MVP admitted he is still trying to adjust to the slow pace in the league as Gilas employs a fast-paced game.

And it was evident in Friday's match at the Cuneta Astrodome as Fajardo finished with only 12 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals before fouling out with 1:36 left in the game.

Still, he did just enough to help the Beermen stay atop the leader board with a 6-1 win-loss record.

"Medyo nanibago," he said. "Nanibago ako sa laro kasi dun sa Seaba mabilis, dito set up."

Now that Seaba is over, Fajardo is glad to be back with the team. But he needs to get in sync with his teammates the soonest possible time with games against tough teams like Ginebra and Alaska coming up.

"Malalakas pa kalaban namin. Andyan pa yung Ginebra at Alaska," he said.
