THE frustration is obviously mounting for JVee Casio.
Not only is he reduced into a spectator in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals, Casio was also disappointed to see Alaska move on the brink of losing yet another shot at the championship after the Aces lost Game Three against Rain or Shine, 112-108, Wednesday night at the Araneta Coliseum.
Out of the conference for good with bone bruise suffered in an eliminations game against GlobalPort, Casio’s woes mounted seeing Alaska go 0-3 down against the Elasto Painters in the best-of-seven title series.
“Pag galing sa ganung (talo) sino bang hindi (mapu-frustrate),” said the Alaska ace point guard.

The 29-year-old Casio said his conditioning and strengthening continue, with the end goal of coming back strong for the season-ending Governors Cup.
For now, he’s limited to cheering and giving morale support to his teammates. But it’s hard not to be able to help them and play inside the court, said the first pick overall of the 2011 rookie draft.
“Mahirap (especially) pag ganun yung result ng game,” he said as he tried to cheer himself up after the Aces spent a long time holed up inside their locker room following the loss.
Still, all is not lost. And for someone who believes in Alaska’s resilience, Casio said the most important thing is to win the next game first.
“We have to accept this (loss). Next game we really have to win, it’s a very important one,” the point guard out of De La Salle. “It’s not me, it’s us. We have to look at this collectively, and we have to work on this collectively.”
