COMMISSIONER Chito Narvasa now holds a dual position in the PBA after assuming the post of league Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on Monday.
Narvasa was given the job following a unanimous decision by the board of governors during a special meeting two days ago, according to media bureau chief Willie Marcial.
The board has given Narvasa the go-signal to design the work flow of the CEO post into the scheme of things of the league, which was first introduced at the start of the season with former commissioner Chito Salud at the helm.
But just two months in the season-opening Philippine Cup, Salud resigned from the post effective end of the year.
Board chairman Robert Non then assumed the position on an interim basis until the end of the all-Filipino conference.
