THE PBA has extended the submission of documents required to join the upcoming rookie draft, giving heralded prospective applicants more time to make up their mind.
With the status of the national team standouts still uncertain pending an agreement between the league and Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas, the PBA decided to move the deadline from Friday to next Wednesday, giving aspirants a few more days to apply for the October 30 draft.
"Yung iba kasi nag-aalangan (magpa-draft),” media bureau chief Willie Marcial said on Wednesday.
Gilas cadet Carl Bryan Cruz has emerged as already the most notable player in a shallow 17-man list of early applicants.
