KHYRI Thomas took charge in the second half to propel No. 22 Creighton to a 79-67 victory over No. 9 Wisconsin in the NCAA Division I basketball on Tuesday in Nebraska (Wednesday, Manila time).
Thomas scored 15 of his 18 points in the second half, including six straight points that gave the Bluejays a 63-52 lead with over six minutes to play.
Bluejays freshman Kobe Paras did not see action this time. Creighton next takes on Washington State.
Maurice Watson had a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds as Creighton scored a huge follow-up to its opening win over University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Bronson Koenig scored 21 points on 8 of 19 shooting, while Nigel Hayes added 16 points for the Badgers (1-1), who next play Chicago State.
