YOUNG wingman Nico Salva has finally found a new home for the 42nd season of the PBA - but it is not Meralco.
Barangay Ginebra finally parted ways with Salva on Monday when it traded the former Ateneo forward to Mahindra for a future second-round draft pick.

Salva was initially set to be traded to the Bolts where he was supposed to reunite with former Ateneo coach Norman Black, team manager Paolo Trillo and former Blue Eagles Rabeh Al-Hussaini, Justin Chua, and Chris Newsome.
But the trade didn't materialize, compelling the Kings to keep Salva in their lineup. He was even present when the reigning Governors Cup cahmpion opened training camp last week and played with the team in its 103-100 loss to Blackwater in a tune-up game Sunday in Batangas City.
Not for long, though.
Salva, a surplus to requirements at Ginebra, already signed up with the Floodbusters for a one-year contract close to P2 million and started practicing with the team on Tuesday.
While there are talks he might still end up going to the Bolts, Mahindra management said it is keen on keeping the services of Salva to make up for the loss of 'stretch 4' players Aldrech Ramos and KG Canaleta.
