PROFESSIONAL dunker David Carlos wowed the crowd during the final day of the NBTC National High School Championship with a flawless performance to take the Slam Dunk contest title at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Carlos scored a perfect 50 on his two dunks in the eliminations and two more jaw-dropping slams in the final round to the delight of the players and fans who were in the venue before the Division 1 and 2 championship games on Thursdday.
Carlos, who is also called ‘Zero Gravity’ and has joined contests in different parts of the world, capped off the competition in grand fashion, leaping over a guy who was carrying another person.

The judges in the contest were PBA legends Jerry Codinera, Danny Ildefonso and Kerby Raymundo, La Salle star Ben Mbala, and former University of the East cager Moustapha Arafat, who even sprawled to the floor after Carlos was able to execute his final dunk.
