CHRIS Ross and Alex Cabagnot don’t mind being in a dead heat for the Best Player of the Conference award of the PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

It doesn’t concern the two who between them gets to win the tournament’s highest individual honor, so long as San Miguel wins the championship at the expense of TnT Katropa.

Ross and Cabagnot finished tied on top of the statistical race at the end of the semifinals phase, both with similar 34.125 SPs.

“It’s cool but the main goal is to win a championship,” said Ross during the presser for the best-of-seven title series on Monday at the Sambokojin Restaurant in Eastwood.

“Like everyone says, when you win, all the individual stuff comes, and it’s just a testament to our team, how good a conference we have, me and Alex.”

“t doesn’t matter. Chris and I are happy for each other,” Cabagnot said for his part.

Another San Miguel teammate in June Mar Fajardo is running third behind the two.
