IT’s still two years away, and right now Stephen Curry says free agency “isn’t really appealing.”
Although the main man for Golden State, Curry is just the fifth highest paid Warrior with a US$11.37 million salary for next season.
That should change in 2017, when the 2015 MVP becomes an unrestricted free agent.
“It’s hard to kinda predict what the situation would be, you know, come next summer or even the summer after that,” Curry told sportingnews.com’s Jimmy Spencer.
"As I am thinking right now, free agency isn't really appealing to me because I love where I'm at, love the organization I'm playing for and the Bay Area is home for me and my family, we’re enjoying our time here," Curry said.
"It helps being world champs, and you want to continue to build the momentum that we've established and I hope to have a huge part of that in the long term," Curry added. "I think the best approach for me is to try and stay as in the moment as possible."
