Raptors down Pacers to get back on track as DeMar DeRozan matches Vince Carter's mark

THE Raptors bounced back with a 111-100 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Friday in Toronto (Saturday, Manila time).

DeRozan scored 40 points as the Raptors got back on track after bowing to the Charlotte Hornets.

It was DeRozan’s 30th game with at least 30 points this season, matching Vince Carter’s record with the Raptors in the 2000-2001 season.

Toronto overpowered Indiana 34-20 in the third and went on to notch their eighth win in the last 10 games.

DeRozan went 11 for 26 in 38 minutes of action as the Raptors improved their win-loss record to 46-30.

Jonas Valanciunas came up with 16 points and 17 rebounds, while Serge Ibaka also had a double-double with 15 and 12.

The Pacers absorbed their third straight loss and 39th in 76 games.

Paul George had 28 points and was a rebound short of a double-double, while Jeff Teague scored 19.

CJ Miles scored 15 off the bench, while Thaddeus Young added 12.
