KOBE Paras showed up on Friday in the Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup to watch La Salle post a 121-119 overtime victory over Lyceum in San Juan.

Paras, who played for La Salle Greenhills before moving to the US, sat behind the La Salle bench just below team patron Danding Cojuangco, obviously supporting the senior team of his high school squad.

The 6-foot-5 high-flyer returned to the Philippines last week just after leaving Creighton  to move to the Big West where he will play for Cal State Northridge, another Division 1 school in the US NCAA.

Paras, who is set to stay in the country for two weeks was tightlipped when asked about his future plans, politely declining interview requests.

However, the second-generation cager is set to represent the country in the upcoming FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2017 in Nantes, France on June 17-21.

He'll be teaming up with Kiefer Ravena, Jeron Teng, and Raymar Jose in the hope of having a better finish than the country's ninth-place performance last year.
