THE Philippines bowed to host France, 22-11, on Monday in its second match in the Fiba 3x3 World Cup in Nantes.

After a 21-15 victory over Romania in its first outing, the Philippine squad couldn't pull off another upset win.

The team of Kobe Paras, Kiefer Ravena, Jeron Teng, and JR Quinahan went 1-1 in Group B of the competition highlighted by its shocking victory over seventh-seed Romania.

France was simply too much for Team Pilipinas as it completed another runaway win after beating El Salvador, 21-5, to take first place in Group B.

The Philippines returns to the court on Tuesday when it battles second-seed Slovenia at 1:40 a.m. and El Salvador at 3 a.m.

Slovenia is second in Group B with a 2-0 record after beating El Salvador, 21-16, and Romania, 21-12.
